In the companies where I have been a non-board non-family member as well as in my current position as working-family-member and board member I have promoted corporate governance good practices.
Introducing corporate governance in a Gen 1, Gen 2 or entrepreneurial environment is often challenging. Most of the time, change is not welcomed and requires a practical, no-nonsense approach rather than a textbook one.
My core skills (finance, accounting, recruiting, HR & IT) are always applied to improve processes without interrupting the bottom line. I have successfully build Finance, Accounting, IT, Supply Chain, and Administrative departments from the ground up.
